The BHC’s Pharmacy Management Initiative (PMI) is a PBM purchasing coalition which brings together forward-thinking employers to leverage collective purchasing power, secure best-in-class PBM contracts, and drive meaningful cost savings. Participating organizations receive a favorable contract; annual market checks, audits, and price improvements; cost-effective clinical programs; data benchmarking; and bi-monthly educational events. The Institute for Clinical and Economic Review (ICER) is an independent, non-profit research organization dedicated to advancing fair pricing, fair access, and future innovation in health care. Using an evidence-based approach and deliberation in an open, public forum, ICER evaluates the benefits, harms, and value of novel prescription drugs in the U.S. The Midwest CEPAC is an Advisory Board that brings together employers, state officials, Medicaid leaders, private insurers, clinical and other policy leaders to discuss how to leverage the results of comparative effectiveness research to improve the quality and value of care delivered in the region.
